Dhampus Sarangkot Trek Support

Dhampus trekking food:

Food is typically given by neighborhood teahouses and lodges throughout the Dhampus trip. Typically, the menu consists of straightforward, filling dishes that will provide trekkers the energy they need to finish their journey. While trekking in Dhampus, you could encounter the following typical dishes:

  • Dal Bhat: This cuisine is a staple in Nepal and consists of steaming rice (bhat), veggies, and lentil soup (dal). It is plentiful on the walk, filling, and healthy.
  • Momos: These are steamed meat or veggie dumplings. They can be served as a main dish or as a popular snack.
  • Chow Mein is a stir-fried noodle dish that includes veggies, chicken, or both. It makes a hearty and simple-to-digest dinner alternative.
  • Pasta: Pasta options on the walk include macaroni and cheese and spaghetti with tomato sauce.
  • Soup: People frequently choose soup for breakfast or as an appetizer. The common variations include tomato soup, vegetable soup, and noodle soup.
  • Snacks: Teahouses and lodges sell a broad variety of snacks, including peanuts, biscuits, and chocolate.

It’s crucial to remember that location and season can affect the menu selections and food availability. At higher elevations, you might also discover that the quality and selection of food is constrained, therefore it’s a good idea to bring some snacks and energy bars to supplement your meals.

Sarangkot trek accommodation:

Trekkers can spend the night at nearby lodges or teahouses while on the Sarangkot trek. Trekkers can rest, dine, and refuel at teahouses and lodges, which are modest, locally-owned lodgings. They are a crucial component of the hiking experience and are commonly accessible along Nepal’s trekking trails.

Teahouses and lodges provide simple lodging, usually consisting of a room with two or more beds, a shared bathroom, and an eating area. The common heating source for the rooms is a stove or fireplace, which can make them cozy and comfortable. While not always available, some teahouses and lodges also have wifi and charging stations.

A tent and sleeping bag should always be kept on hand as a backup in case you are unable to secure lodging, as the availability of teahouses and lodges might vary based on the area and season.

It’s also important to keep in mind that teahouses and lodges can get fairly full during the busiest trekking season (September to November), so it’s a good idea to make reservations in advance to guarantee a room. You might not be able to bargain for a reduced fee for your lodging during the off-season.

Best memorable trek in Ghandruk Loop with Sarangkot

I booked the trek and tour from mission Himalaya treks, Birendra. He was highly recommended by my friend in Hongkong. He is one of the best trekking guides I have met in Nepal. He took care of everything and made sure the rooms were reserved for me during high season. I trekked in mid-October, which is the best season with the best weather. there was fresh air in the mountains. I slept early, woke up early and trekked every day. I was renewed spiritually and physically after the trek. I was lucky to see the snow-capped mountains and golden fields in the trek. Birendra also arranged a school for me to volunteer and homestay in her parents’ home in Gorkha for three weeks. It has changed my life. I saw how the villagers and students enjoyed their lives though they had little and many houses there had collapsed. life was not easy. the people loved their families and kids. They met their friends every day. I was the only foreigner there. Everyone was friendly and treated me nicely. I stayed in a house which was originally for the goats and buffalo because the house they lived had collapsed during the earthquake.
I was lucky to experience the second biggest festival in Nepal, Tihar. It was a colorful and joyful festival. People in traditional costumes danced in the streets. They put the colorful rangoli at the doorways. I enjoyed it so much. I am grateful to Birendra. He has arranged a life-changing trip for me. I fell in love with Nepal and extended my stay from 6 weeks to 5 months. I love its scenery, food, festivals, music, dance, costumes, especially its people. They are the most peaceful and happiest people I have seen. It is my favorite country and second home.
Birendra is kind, funny, caring, loving, professional n experienced. I had a safe, enjoyable n memorable time in the trek. I was well taken care of by him during the trek. He arranged the trek, volunteer work, and homestay well. You can trust him. I recommend him to everyone.

Stunning trekking company for “Nepal for a first time hiking experience.

We booked our first trip to Nepal through Mission Himalaya Treks and Expeditions PVT LTD. The hiking experience was joyful from beginning to the end. Shyam and his team took very good care for us. He explained each and every one of our questions. In Kathmandu, Birendra meets us at the airport. Then he hosted us for 3 days Pokhara trekking to Dhampus Sarankot and 1-day rafting to the Trisuli River. Everything was well organized Knowledgeable and respectful. The short trek itself was best because of the nice lodges and the food was very tasty. I will give 5 stars for this company and their entire team. Wow, Nepal river rafting.
