Best Time for Tsum Valley Trek:

In Nepal, there are four distinct seasons all year long. [Spring{March, April, and May}, Autumn{September, October, and November}, Summer{June, July, and August}, Winter{December, January, and February}]. In Nepal, the best seasons for trekking are spring and autumn since nature provides the clearest and greatest picture of the snow-capped Himalayan peaks at this time.

Stable weather means you don’t have to worry about summertime rain or wintertime snowfall, allowing you to trek freely without concern for the environment. Also, It’s not that cold this season.

Furthermore, this season receives low rainfall, with the exception of June, July, and August. Thus, you can see the breathtaking view of the Himalayan peaks along with Nepalese landscapes in the spring, fall, and winter.

The typical temperature for walking in Tsum Valley in the spring ranges from 8 to 18 degrees. Given that the mountain is frigid, the current weather conditions are bearable. It’s comfortable to trek Tsum Valley in the spring because it’s hot in the day and you may spend delightful evenings at tea houses. The rhododendron, which is Nepal’s national flower, is in bloom during this season, so you can see it while walking in lower elevations.

The second-best season for trekking in Tsum Valley is autumn. The range of temperatures is -5 to +20 degrees. little colder than in the spring, but still rather hot when you hike during the day. In guesthouses, you relax at night.

As stated by Mission Himalaya Treks, Experience, and visitor reviews, trekking in Tsum Valley is most enjoyable in autumn, when the snow-capped Himalayas are visible and the weather is stable. However, depending on your vacation period and the amount of snow at Larkya la Pass, Mission Himalaya Treks and Expeditions can organize this journey at any time of year.

Required experience and physical Condition:

Tsum valley trekking is suitable for those kinds of adventure lovers who are physically fit and able to trek 6 to 7 hours within a day with their light day pack. Depends on terrain and altitude the distance of trekking is vary every day. Mission Himalaya Treks and Expedition suggest you practice little prior experience before you join this trek.

Food in Tsum valley trek:

Mostly Tsum valley treks every lodge to prepare the food in their own kitchen. the food is hygienic and prepares instantly. Mostly vegetarian food is most fresh. In Kathmandu, you can get a western restaurant but in trekking, the foods are basic like Pasta, Noodles, Spaghetti, Dalbhat, Bread, Potato egg, and vegetables.

According to the tea house rule and regulation dinner and breakfast you need to eat where you sleep. Lunch we can provide on the way middle of your trekking.

Shower facilities in Tsum Valley trek:

Every lodge they have a hot shower for a bath whether somewhere you need to pay but somewhere is free of cost. we can get either a solar shower, Gas shower or boiling water in the bucket depends on the lodge and altitude.

Drinking water in Tsum valley trek:

In the city, of Kathmandu, you can buy mineral water plastic bottles. During the trek also many parts you can get a mineral water bottle. But Mission Himalaya Treks and Expedition suggest you top buy chlorine drops or iodine Tablets to purify the water. It helps to protect the environment from pollution. Normal water we can get free of charge so you can put medicine there. or you can buy Boiled water. this can be better at high altitude drinking because of the cold water freezing.
