Tsum Valley Trek is popular for gompas (Buddhist monasteries), Tsortens and mani walls, mountains, beautiful varied landscape, and different flora and fauna and wonderful. Best Time for Tsum Valley Trek:

There are four seasons in Nepal throughout the year. [winter{December, January, and February}, Summer{June, July, and, August}, Autumn{September, October, and November} and  Spring{March, April and, May} ]. Autumn and Spring are remark best times for trekking in Nepal. Because this time Nature is the more clear and best view of snowy Himalayan peaks.

You can trek freely without worry about the atmosphere and clear surroundings with stable weather mean no need to worry about rain like summer, no need to worry about snow like winter. This season is not too cold a lot. Rainfall is usually low in all seasons except June, July, and August. So, in Spring Autumn, and Winter, you are able to see the majestic view of Himalayan ranges with landscapes of Nepal.

During the Spring season in Tsum Valley trekking temperature is an average from 8-18 degrees. This is tolerable weather in the mountain because the mountain itself is a cold place. In spring you can trek Tsum Valley comfortably because the afternoon is hot and at night you have a pleasant time at tea houses. This season is flower time so You are able to see the National flower of Nepal(rhododendron) blooming around some part of trekking in the lower elevation.

Autumn Season is the second-best season for Tsum Valley treks. The temperature is between (-5 to +20) degrees. A little bit colder than springtime but the same as you trek in the daytime is hot. At nighttime, you relax in Guesthouses.

Food in Tsum valley trek:

Mostly Tsum valley treks every lodge to prepare the food in their own kitchen. the food is hygienic and prepares instantly. Mostly vegetarian food is most fresh. In Kathmandu, you can get a western restaurant but in trekking, the foods are basic like Pasta, Noodles, Spaghetti, Dalbhat, Bread, Potato egg, and vegetables.

According to the tea house rule and regulation dinner and breakfast you need to eat where you sleep. Lunch we can provide on the way middle of your trekking.

Shower facilities in Tsum Valley trek:

Every lodge they have a hot shower for a bath whether somewhere you need to pay but somewhere is free of cost. we can get either a solar shower, Gas shower or boiling water in the bucket depends on the lodge and altitude.

Drinking water in Tsum valley trek:

In the city, of Kathmandu, you can buy mineral water plastic bottles. During the trek also many parts you can get a mineral water bottle. But Mission Himalaya Treks and Expedition suggest you top buy chlorine drops or iodine Tablets to purify the water. It helps to protect the environment from pollution. Normal water we can get free of charge so you can put medicine there. or you can buy Boiled water. this can be better at high altitude drinking because of the cold water freezing.

Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel

From the Tribhuvan International airport, you will enter Nepal. Mission Himalaya Treks And Expedition one representative welcomes you at the arrival gate with your name card. them you will be transferred to the hotel.

After some rest, we will brief you about trekking and in the evening we will welcome you with a typical Nepali local dish in a Traditional restaurant in Thamel with a Cultural dance show. We spent overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 2:

Kathmandu valley sightseeing and trek Preparation

Today you will visit some Capital city Kathmandu UNESCO"S World heritages sites. WE  with sightseeing tours in Pashupatinath temple Biggest Hindu Temple in Nepal. Boudhnath stupa(the Biggest stupa in the world), Swyambhunath temple (the Self-existent one stupa according to Nepali Buddhism), and Old royal Palace( Durbar Square).

Drive from Kathmandu to Sotikhola

After Chumling we will cross the bridge we can enjoy the view of Ganesh Himal then we pass Rainjham to Serpu stream or Khola. From Serpukhola we enter today the hidden Valley Tsum. We make a difficult climb that leads us to the Chokhangparo. IF the weather is excellent we can explore the mesmerizing view of Himal Chuli. overnight we spend there.

Day 9:

Trek from Chokhangparo to the Nile via Milarepa cave{3361m} to Mu Gompa

Trek from the Mu Gompa. to Chekampar via Rachen Gompa

After breakfast in Chumje, we will trek through the Northern trail to the lower Tsum Valley. Then we pass to Dorgen Kharka and reach to Rana Village. After crossing the suspension bridge again over the Budhi Gandaki river we walk further to Bihi village and spend one night there.

Day 13:

Trek from Bihi to Namrung

Walking Hours : 5 To 6 Hours Trekking

In the beginning, we will trek the Flat trekking trail uphill; climbing. After walking in the forest we reach Namrung we can enjoy the Majestic Himalayan view include the beautiful Manaslu. we spend overnight there.

Day 14:

Trek from Namrung to Lho (2540m) to Samagaun

Walking Hours : 7 To 8 Hours Trekking

Today we follow Budhigandaki riverside through the forest. Short climbing to Tibetan plateau and further reach to the village Shyala. From there we can see the majestic Himalayan view of Himal Chuli, Ngadi Chuli, Ganesh Himal, Manaslu, and other lots of glaciers.

Further, we trek to Sama village. At the far end of the village, we can see Monastery they make the valley more beautiful. On the base of Manaslu Samagaun looks beautiful. Here mostly Tibetan inhabitants welcome all of us. spend Overnight there.

Day 15:

Rest day in Samagaun

Day 16:

Samagaun to Samdo

From Samagaun Village we descend to Budi Gandaki river and reach the suspension bridge and cross the small stream. We will trek Larkya la Trekking trails passes numerous Chortens and prayer flags. After passing the forest descends to the river and crosses the river reach to Samdo. It is a big settlement of around 40 houses in higher elevation. we spent overnight at Samdo.

Day 17:

Trek from Samdo to Dharmashala

Walking Hours : 5 To 6 Hours Trekking

Trekking through the river and cross it and start climbing. After cross two streams amazing view of Larkya glacier can be seen. We cross the valley and reach Dharmashala. It's a guest house In Larkya Phedi. we stay there in High camp to prepare for the next day pass. spend overnight there.

Day 18:

Trek from Dharmashala to Bhimthang

Walking Hours : 5 To 6 Hours Trekking

Today we need to cross Moraines of the glacier so start early trekking. First, gradually climb and later steep downwards today. We enjoy the panoramic Himalayan Vistas of Kanggru, Himlung, Cheo, and also Annapurna from the top of Pass. The trekking is long but enjoys downwards treks and the view of Manaslu makes us easy.

Day 19:

Trek from Bhimtang to Dharapani

Walking Hours : 5 To 6 Hours Trekking

Max. Altitude : 1860M

Again we trek long descends today. we trekking through Burdin Khola and pass the rhododendron forest until Karche. Then we trek to Gho Village. trekking north bank of the river reaches Tilije. After crossing to Dudh Khola over a suspension bridge, we proceed to Dharapani.  spend overnight there.

Day 20:

Drive to Besishahar by jeep and drive to Kathmandu

Walking Hours : 8 Hours Driving

Meals Included : Breakfast And Lunch

Accomodation : 3 Star Standard Hotel

Today until Beshishahar our driving way is not so good because its a muddy and stony way. it takes around 3-4 hours to drive there. Besishahar is also a trekking starting point of the Annapurna circuit trek. after Besishahar, we will drive to Kathmandu around 5-6 hours and ended the trip.

Day 21:

Shopping Departure or Extend your Holiday
