Is Nepal Safe to travel to after the 2015 earthquake?
On April 25, 2015, Nepal suffered from a devastating earthquake causing thousands of deaths, millions of homes being destroyed and many heritages damaged. It has been nearly 4 years after the earthquake and many reconstructions are completed while some are still going on. The government is planning to rebuild every damaged heritage building.
The Tourism Board has checked every place preferred by the tourists and confirmed 35 fundamental climbing courses to be safe.
The government is patching old streets and developing new streets suitable for travel. After an earthquake, every trekking course, business structure, and building was completely checked by government-affirmed engineers. Hotels, lodges, and restaurants built after quakes are earthquake-resistant.
We can say that Nepal is as safe as any other place on the planet and tourists are equally welcome as every reconstruction work is to be completed.
