Starting the hike from the park entrance gate near Balaju By-pass, the Nagarjuna Jamacho Day Hike takes you through the forested trails for around 2 hours. From the start of the trek, there is something special throughout the way to make your hiking more rewarding.

The initial portion of the climb is quite steep. But for your convenience, there are staircases on some parts of the trail. After walking for some time on the staircases follow the moderately steep hiking route. Afterward, there comes the steep trail on the final portion up to Jamacho Peak.

Also known as the Jamacho Peak, Nagarjuna Hill is the final destination of our hiking journey. Reaching the top what you can expect is a marvelous view of Kathmandu Valley, Nuwakot, and northern Himalayan ranges.
