Day 01:

Kathmandu Airport arrival (1350m) Transfer to Hotel.

25 To 30 Minutes Drive.

In your arrival time, Nepal's only one airport for international flight Mission Himalaya Treks some staff welcome you at the arrival gate. When your visa process and luggage claim then you can search in front of the gate you can see our staff holding a placid printing your name. Then we will transfer you to the Thamel after 20 minutes of driving.

In the afternoon or evening, you have leisure time depending on your arrival. Then in the evening our office representative will introduce you to your guide and describe all the details of your trek. The goods are enough it's ok if not we will go to some shop to buy or rent some trekking equipment. Then we will treat you to local Nepali cuisine in a typical Nepali restaurant in Thamel with cultural dance and music. This live show and free of cost. Overnight Kathmandu.

Day 02:

Flight from Kathmandu to Lukla (2805m) and Trek from Lukla to Phakding (2610m) (6.2km distance)

40 Minutes Flight and 3 To 4 Tours Trek.

Today after breakfast we will drive to Tribhuvan International Airport at the same airport you came to yesterday but we will go domestic terminal for the Lukla flight. After check-in and procedure, we will fly to Lukla with a small tiny airstrip plane. This plane capacity of only 16-18 people. If you are able to seat the left side you can see numerous mountains of Langtang, Gaurishankar, and Manaslu Himalayan Ranges during the flight.

After the flight, you can reach Lukla and meet our porter there. After that, if the time is early we will take a tea break and prepare luggage for the trek. If our flight delays, we will take lunch here. Then we will be heading our trek to Dudh Koshi valley. During this trek, you will pass through the pine forests and numerous Sherpa settlements villages.

Chortens and Mani walls are also an attraction of this trek. You are able to see Mt. Kusum during the trek near the Thado Koshi stream. After 3 to 4 hours of gradual flat trekking and some uphill, we will reach Phakding. Overnight in Phakding.

Day 03:

Trek from Phakding to the Namche Bazaar (3440m) 7.4 kilometer

5 To 6 Hours Trekking.

Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

After taste the mountain breakfast in Phakding today we will be heading to Namche. In the beginning, we will cross a suspension bridge and start Zamphute village. Until Monjo, we will cross several suspension bridges and sometimes we trek Dudh Koshi riverside.

Most of the trekking gradually flat, down, and uphill mixed. Zamphute, Toktok, and Benkar village we will pass during trekking. We can see Mt. Thamserku during our trek. After reaching Monjo there is a checking point for Everest permits. Also called the Sagarmatha National Park Entry gate. We will check our permits and enter the National park area. After 15 minutes we will reach the Jorsalle on the Bank of Dudh Koshi River. We will lunch there.

After lunch, we will trek similar around 1 hour to the big and high Suspension bridges. Probably it's the deepest and most beautiful Suspension bridges. After this bridge, we will trek uphill for 1 hour to the resting place. It is the 1st Everest viewpoint. You can see 1st time Mt. Everest (8848m) today then trekking 1 more hour till Namche. Overnight at Namche.

Day 04:

Exploration day In Namche or Acclimatization day or hiking to Everest View Hotel(3880m) (round trip 4 km)

3 to $ hours Day Hiking.

Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Namche is the gateway to Everest and headquarters of the Khumbu region. The shopping market and every Saturday there is a local market. If you are here on Saturday you can see it. If you like leisure time and just explore around you can visit some gompas and the Museum of Namche. If you like hiking you can breakfast and hike around 2 hours to the Hotel Everest view (the highest altitude Star category hotel in the world). From this hotel, you can see The Majestic Mountain like Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Amadablam, Thamserku, Kusum Kangaru, Kangtega, Kwongde, and other several snow-capped mountains.

After taking the tea there we continue trek to the next Green village Hillary village Named by Sir Edmond Hillary after climb Mt. Everest in 1953ad. We can explore Khumjung Monastery and can see the Head of the yeti according to Local people. Then we can see Khumjung Hillary school. Then heading to the next village Khunde. Then we can explore Khunde hospital and village and lunch there. Then we back to Namche totally downhill and overnight at Namche.

Day 05:

Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tyangboche (3960m) 5.9km

5 Hours Trekking.

Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Tea House/ Lodge.

Today after breakfast we will start our trek towards Tengboche. In the beginning, we will be trekking gradually flat way which way made by a single old man from the donation of tourists. This way very beautiful because of big even in snow time can easily find. If you are interested you can donate this man to construct the trails. Then we can trek 1st village Kyangjuma. In this village, we can take a cup of tea or a bakery if you are hungry.

Then you can see two ways. One way leads Gokyo Lake and another way leads direct Everest base camp. We will take the right way to direct base camp trek. Then we will go downhill to Sanasa and Lousasa village during the trekking. After the downhill trek and cross the Dudh Koshi River we will reach Phungithanka. We will lunch there. We can recheck our permit again here with Army.

Then after lunch, we will trek totally uphill to our last point of tody trekking Tyangboche. In the ever=ening we can explore the Everest region Biggest Monastery. Tyangboche in the evening Monks can meditate and pray. You can watch the ceremony. Then back to Guesthouse. Overnight at Tyangboche.

Day 06:

Trek from Tyangboche to Dingboche (4410m)9.1km

5 Hours Trekking.

Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Tea House/ Lodge.

After breakfast at the shadow of Beautiful Thamserku Mountain and explore Everest, Lhotse, Tabuche, and Kwangde we will trek downhill to beautiful village Debuche after 30 minutes downhill. Then we can trek gradually flat until Dudhkoshi river and cross another suspension bridge. The trekking uphill to the next beautiful village Pangboche. This village is popular for potatoes. You can see farmland of potato a lot surrounds here. And a beautiful Monastery in this village.

The people who climb Ama Dablam can separate way from here with Everest base Camp trekkers. Then we will trek towards Somare and lunch here after a 1-hour trek from Pangboche. After lunch, we will trek flat and downhill to the river again and cross the bridge. Then trek uphill to Dingboche. Overnight here.

Day 07:

Acclimatization day at Dingboche,

3 To 4 Day Hiking.

Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Today is another rest day. During high altitude, we need to acclimatize our body with altitude so after 3000m every 100m climb we need to rest 1 more day or sleep 2 nights at the same place. So either you can explore and leisure at Dingboche today. If you like a very long hike you can go to Chukung and hike Chukung RI. But most of the trekkers will go to Nagsarkang peak to explore the majestic mountain Makalu.

After breakfast, we can hike around 3 hours to the top of the peak. During the hike at the top, we can see Mt. Pumori, Makalu, Amphu Lapsa, island peak, Amadablam, Thamserku, Kusum, Kwangde, Tabuche, Cholatse, Lobuche and other 100s of Snow-capped Himalayan ranges of Khumbu. After taking several photos then we will back to the hotel and lunch. Evening leisure time to reading books or play cards or explore around. The choice is yours. Dingboche is the place separate for direct Everest base camp trekkers and island peak climbers and 3 pass trekkers.

Day 08:

Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche (4910m) 6.6km

5 Hours Trek

Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Tea House/ Lodge.

Today we will be trekking at a high altitude so please walk slowly with enough rest. After breakfast, we will trek a little uphill for around 30 Minutes in the same way as Nagsarkang we trek gradually flat and separate the way from Nagsarkang. We can see panoramic Mountain Vistas of Lobuche Peak, Cholatse, Tabuche, and Amadablam during the trekking. After 2 hours 30 minutes of trekking, we will reach Thukla.

We can lunch here if you are hungry. Thukla is not a village area just 2 houses here and both are hotels. From Thukla today one and half hour trekking so difficult. From Thukla to uphill to the Memorial place of climbers. You can explore lots of climber’s memorial place with Mountain View here. Lots of prayer flags increase your strength of trekking. Then we will trek gradually flat until Lobuche.  In the evening you can go to see glacier viewpoint in Lobuche or Hotel Pyramid for Acclimatization overnight at Lobuche.

Day 09:

Trek From Lobuche to Gorakshep (5170m) (4km) and explore Everest base camp (5364m)(3.4km for a round trip) (Total 7.4km)

7-8 Hours Trekking.

Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Tea House/ Lodge.

Today is the most important day of our whole trekking. Because we will go to Mt. Everest base camp today. Lots of trekkers aim to reach there. In the morning we will take an early breakfast in front of Nuptse Mountain. Then we will trek through the Khumbu glacier and in front of Pumori Mountain after3 an hour of difficult walk in the glacier we will reach Gorakshep.

Then we will check in the room. Leave our trekking stuff here and lunch. Then we will day hike to Everest base camp for around 3 to 4 hours. The way seems so easy but so difficult because of the height and stony glacier path. We can reach the Everest Base camp within 2 hours and 30 minutes. In spring you can see numerous tents for climbers. From Everest Base Camp you cannot see Everest. Before you do not believe but after today you believe then back to Hotel in Gorakhshep Overnight at Gorakhshep. High altitude so probably you cannot sleep the whole night. you can sleep just for some hours.

Day 10:

Hike to Kala Patthar(5545m) and Trek back to Pheriche(4200m);(2.4km for Gorakshep round trip)(9.8km to Pheriche)

7 to 8 Hours Trekking.

Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Tea House/ Lodge.

Today is another important day in our trekking. Before 3 hours than sunrise and prior to the breakfast we will hike to Kalapatthar to see a 360-degree sunrise view of Everest Himalayan ranges. The trek to Kala Patthar is very difficult as compared to other day trekking. You will reach your maximum height of this trek today and you can see the best view of Mt. Everest from there.

Then we will explore all the mountain surroundings like Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Everest south cool, Lingren, Khumbutse, Changtse, Pumori, Amadablam, Makalu, Thamserku, and lots of other snow Himalayan ranges. Probably this is your lifetime best view with Khumbu Glacier and Icefall. After exploring this you will back to the hotel. Breakfast and continue to trek down to Pheriche. Pheriche is low altitude so this night probably you have the best sleeping than Gorakshep.

Day 11:

Trek back to Namche (3440m) (14.2km)

7 Hours Trekking.

Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Tea House/ Lodge.

Today another long day of trekking back to Namche. After breakfast in front of Ama Dablam, we will trek uphill to Pheriche pass and trek to Domare then downhill to Pangboche. During the trekking probably you can see a mountain goat, fear animals today. After Pangboche you trek downhill and cross Dudhkoshitriver then flat to Debuche and uphill to Tyangboche.

After lunch in Tengboche, we trek down to Phungithanka. Cross Dudh Koshi River again with a suspension bridge and trek uphill to Sanasa. The view of trekking back is different than uphill and trekking more easily to downhill. From Kyangjuma the trek easy big trail and flat until Namche. Overnight in Namche,

Day 12:

Trek from Namche to Lukla. (2805m)13.5km.

7 Hours Trekking.

Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Tea House/ Lodge.

Today is the last day of trekking. We trek early breakfast and trek downhill to Lukla. During back to trail also we pass several suspension bridges, Jungles, Chortens, mani walls, Villages, Mountains, Chortens, and numerous riverside.  After a long trek, we will finish our trek in Lukla. Then confirm our ticket for Kathmandu. In the evening you can treat your guide and porter to give farewell dinner in the successful trekking. Overnight at Lukla.

Day 13:

Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu.

35 Minutes Flight And 30 Minutes Drive.


3 star Category Hotel.

After completing our trek today morning we can enjoy our last mountain breakfast trek 10 min till Lukla airport and flight to Kathmandu. After the flight, your guide brings you to the hotel. In the evening our Mission Himalaya Treks and expedition representative will visit you to share your experience of Everest base camp trekking with us.

Then we give you a certificate on the completion of your trek.  Today you have enough time for leisure and massage or explore UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Overnight at Kathmandu.

Day 14:

Departure your trip.

30 Minutes Drive.



After breakfast, today is the time to flight your happy home. If your flight at night you can explore Kathmandu and Happy hour shopping or Final last hour shopping. Mission Himalaya one staff drop you at the airport before 3 hours than your flight or according to your check-in time. We will have a safe and nice flight. Hope to see you again with your friends, relatives, and family.

Gear List

Ans. Here is the packing list:

Base layers: For EBC trek base layer cloth is very important for higher elevation. In lower elevation like Lukla(2850m) Namche(3440m) they will not necessary in the high season of trekking. Please try to pack wicking moisture clothes and wool base layers.

Insulation layer: The second layer of cloth also necessary depends on the season. We suggest a fleece jacket with a lightweight.

Outer layer: This is a warm layer used in the higher elevation of the trek because there the weather is very cold all season. A down jacket of negative 10 degrees will be recommended for all trekkers by Mission Himalaya Treks And Expeditions PVT LTD.

Trekking Trousers: Mission Himalaya Treks and Expeditions Expert suggest you take 2* pair of hiking trousers and 1 pair of short stretched trousers for the Trek.

Trekking shirt: We suggest 3 to 5 pairs of short and long shirt mix sets which are lightweight and fabric is better.

Waterproof Jacket and trousers: Please in your packing list Rain and snow protection gear need to add. A waterproof good quality jacket. But the trousers normal is fine.

Underwear: At least 2 to 4 pieces of moisture-wicking underwear necessary for hiking. Sporty underwear is the best choice for this trekking.

Headwear: A good quality trekking hat or cap and a warm hat or beanie for cold wear will be recommended by mission Himalaya treks and expeditions PVT ltd. Neck Gaiter: A gaiter makes your face and neck warm in cold altitude and dusty places. A cheap quality gaiter also fine for any trekking.

Gloves: Light inner gloves and outer insulated gloves which must be waterproof and durable can be suggested by MHT for EBC Budget Lodge trekking.

Footwear: Another most important gear for the trek is footwear. Frostbite protection is our one goal for all trekkers. A pair of comfortable trekking boots that must be waterproof or Gore-Tex and good quality with a pair of warm quality socks will be necessary for Everest Base Camp Trek. For day hiking in lower elevation, you can use sports shoes. A sandal we will recommend you to bring for the teahouse stay period.

Note: Be remember that do not bring very new shoes it makes the foot blister. So use it at least 1 week before trekking.

Warm thermal socks. Gaiters, sandals, and hiking shoes are better if you add this to your packing list of the trek. Bags and Backpacks: A duffel bag or 50-70 liter backpack will be recommended for porters and a day backpack for your personal use in hiking 20-40 liter with rain cover we will suggest for the Mission Himalaya Treks Everest Base Camp Trek packing list. Sleeping Bag: A good quality sleeping bag around negative 10 to 20 degrees will be better for Everest Base Camp Budget Trekking. We suggest you bring a sleeping bag liner if you have one. If you do not have we will give you a sleeping bag which you need to return to us after completing this trekking. Ear Plugs: To protect the Snoring of your teammate or from another room trekker earplug is the good packing gear for Everest Base Camp. Trekking Poles: Most of the trekkers who like to Everest base camp bring a trekking pole in their hike. So for your less stress please you can pack a pair of trekking pole for this trek. Sunglasses: UV Protector Sunglass with the light-reduction in must necessary gear for Nepal all snow Himalaya Mountain trekking. Headlight: Every guesthouse they have a light but some higher elevation the power of light not enough. So at night they off all light. Mountain is a remote place for the toilet and other issues like a sunrise hike to Kalapatthar 5545 m you need to bring a headlight with an extra pair of good quality batteries you must bring in Everest Base Camp Trek. Hydration Bladder /water bottle: To protect your dehydration in the trek and prevention of AMS you need to drink water so, please add 2 water bottles one for cold water and another for hot water. Or hydration bladder is easy to carry or drink cold water from your backpack. Towel: Most of the teahouse in the Everest region does not provide a towel for trekkers so please for your personal use in the bathroom put 1 towel for your Everest base camp packing gear. Lock: For your belongings safety Mission, Himalaya Treks suggest you bring 2 locks - one for porter luggage and another for your backpack for your valuable goods, passport, and money. Waterproof Bag: You can bring a waterproof bag or some plastic bag to save your valuables (camera mobile passport, documents) from the water like sweating or wet by rain. Camera: A good quality camera with lots of memory cards and pairs of batteries will better bring for EBC trek for memory in the future. Or recall for other trekking with Mission Himalaya Treks and Expeditions PVT LTD. You can show good pictures with your friends and relatives. Portable chargers: Everyplace anytime you cannot charge your battery. So please bring a portable charger for your personal use of mobile. Books Cards, Passport, Money: Book and cards can be used for fun in your teahouse rest time except for your trekking period. Please bring enough cash and change in NPR local currency in Kathmandu before start trekking with Mission Himalaya Treks. Because trekking EBC is a remote place you cannot change USD at good exchange rates and there is no ATM in trekking places. Only Lukla ANDF Namche can find some ATM but it's not working much time. Insurance: Trekking in a mountain or in a higher Elevation is a high risk. So buy a good insurance policy and bring a copy of it which covers at least 5600m and with emergency coverage of helicopter evacuation. Some Medications and Toiletries: Some water purification tablets or drops will be recommended for your trek. Some isotonic powder and oral rehydration powder, Diamox, normal first-aid kit we suggest to add is your packing gear of Everest Base Camp Trek. Sun cream, Wipes, Toilet paper: Mission Himalaya Treks and Expeditions suggest you bring some rolls of toilet paper, Sun cream SPF 50 or more, lip balm SPF 50 or more, and some wet wipes add to your Everest base camp packing gear. Toothpaste and Toothbrush also add to your packing list. Ans. Normally there is no age limit for this trekking we have past experience of 6 years old to 75 years old trekkers this trekking to this trekking. Q. Q. Is past hiking experience necessary for this Trek?

Ans. According to our past experience, we have a lot of trekkers who did Everest base camp trek without any past experience of trekking and hiking. If your fitness level is normal you can complete the Everest base camp Budget trek. Past trek and hike experience is the plus point of your trek for this time. Are the lady trekkers safe in Budget EBC Treks? Of course yes. We ensure full of travel safety in Mission Himalaya Treks both for female and male travelers. We have a very good relationship with our guide staff and lodges. All our guides are very helpful and mindful with our guests.

Q. Q. How is the speed of trekking EBC?

Ans. Mission Himalaya Treks and Expeditions guide and pre-meeting request all the trekkers to keep slow and regular trekking instead of fast and stop trekking. We will not participate in any marathon in this trek so the main guide of Mission Himalaya Treks stays with the slowest trekker during your Everest Base Camp trek in group trek. Slow trekking is the plus point of preventing acute mountain sickness.

Q. Q. The difficulty of this trekking

Ans. Nepal trekking situated in higher elevation so it will a bit challenging for most visitors. Some training and good information are always helpful for this trekking. Normally it's moderate difficult trekking as compared to other trekking routes of Nepal. Trekking normally 5 to 7 hours in one day and around 10 to 15 kilometers in one day.

Q. Q. Training for this trek?

Ans. Normally we not suggest a very hard pre-training before the trek. But 1 month prior to the trek if you will do running or distance walking in your hometown it will very helpful. But please do not do a high level of fitness like Gym or other hard training it is not necessary for this trek. It is moderate hiking only because of the altitude it looks difficult.

Q. How I can pay my full cost of this tour?

Ans. After you deposit for the trek advance from your hometown then you can send your scanning copy of your passport, Flight ticket copy, and passport-sized photo together for booking this trekking. We confirm your flight ticket, Permits, and hotel booking prior to your arrival time in Nepal. For the rest due amount we warmly request you to pay in cash after your arrival at Kathmandu hotel before start your trekking.

Q. Where I can buy an insurance policy for the trek and what type?

Ans. This trek and the tour are higher altitude activities. We hardly request you to buy your travel insurance from your hometown. We will not suggest you buy an insurance policy with us or our recognized company. There are some risks in higher altitude trekking like Acute Mountain sickness, Leg injury, and other diseases. So please do not hesitate to buy your insurance. Before buy your insurance policy confirm with your agents higher altitude evacuation by helicopter include or not. In case of emergency, it must necessary so in higher elevation, there are no good hospitals. We always keep the priority on your health risk. So Buy Insurance policy covering 5555m altitude covering and emergency rescue evacuation.

Q. Can I rent a sleeping bag and down jacket for the trek?

Of course yes. We will free provide a rented down jacket and sleeping bag for this trek. But after a complete trek, you can return it back to our staff. If you have your own sleeping bag and down jacket do not hesitate to bring them. Only the trekkers who do not have we will provide our rented sleeping bag and down jacket. Please let our staff in trip meeting time about your clothing then we know you need.

Q. What type of bag should I give to my trekking porters?

Normally our trekking is organized trek with guide and porters. Day backpack you can carry by yourself but your hiking clothes and other teahouse clothes and goods carried by your porter. Your unnecessary luggage you can leave in Kathmandu and put your necessary gears and goods in a duffel bag or if you have your own hiking 60 to 80 ltr backpack it will be good for porters.

Q. How will be the size of the day backpack for the trek?

Mission Himalaya Treks suggest you bring a 30 to 40 liter maximum size day backpack where you can put your essentials day hiking things and some valuables.

Q. Any weight limit on domestic flights?

Yes, Domestic flights from Kathmandu to Lukla and return have weight limits. 10 kilograms of luggage and 5 hg hands luggage will be allowed freely on the flight. If you have more weight than this you need to pay US$1 per kg in flight. For porters also 20 to 25 kilograms yours two-person backpack is suggested by our company and the Government of Nepal. Note: Passport Medications and valuables we will suggest you bring by yourself during the flight or in a trekking day backpack. Because some time flight luggage can be delayed due to overweight of tiny airstrip weight of peoples. They have a flight weight limit of airplanes too.

Q. Can I leave unnecessary goods in Kathmandu?

Of course yes. You can deposit your luggage in Kathmandu in a hotel free of cost before the trek. The things unnecessary for the trip can leave there. After deposit your luggage please take the deposit voucher. After finish your tour you can show it and back to the hotel.

Q. Anybody pick me up and drop me at the airport during the arrival and departure time of the EBC Budget trek?

Yes, Mission Himalaya Treks and the expedition airport representative will wait for you at the arrival gate before your arrival time. After your procedure of visa, you can see him in front of the gate with your name card placid in a paper and he leaves 3 hours before departure in the airport departure hall.

Q. Is Nepal Immigration give the arrival visa at the airport?

Of course yes. After your plane landing please show your 6-month validity passport in the arrival hall visa procedure section. It takes a little time because of the small airport and many trekkers take online visas there. But the procedure is very easy to get a visa here. Please you’re staying place name need to fill up in the visa form. So do not forget to ask us about your booking hotel name before the flight from your home town to Nepal.

Q. Where I can stay in Kathmandu?

This trip is Budget so we will book you the standard deluxe hotel accommodation during your stay in Kathmandu. The hotel can be Hotel Thamel Park or similar standard and located in the town center.

Q. How about the extra night accommodation in Kathmandu?

According to your trek confirmed itinerary and dates we will provide the hotels in Kathmandu. If you will stay more nights because of early arrival, late departure from trekking you need to pay yourself for an extra hotel in Kathmandu. A similar hotel costs US$ 30 per double room and US$ 25 per single room per night. If there is availability the rooms we will book for you and you can pay us or you can book yourself. In case the same hotel not available we will give you information about the hotel and costing after consult with you when is necessary or similar category accommodation nearby.

Q. During the trekking what kind of accommodation can I expect in Mountain?

During our other trekking arrangements deluxe tea houses and lodges available during the trek in the mountain but this trek, we will provide a normal guesthouse in trekking. At the lower elevation of trekking, we will provide the best available lodges. We will provide inside toilet rooms were available at least 3 night in the mountain too.

Q. I like a private room for myself is it available and how much I need to pay extra?

Higher elevation hotels are limited. In high season many trekkers are trekking in Everest Base camp because it's the most popular trekking in the world. As per availability, we will provide twin-sharing accommodation during trekking. In case if you will need a single supplement you need to pay US$ 10 extra for a guesthouse per night. Somewhere we will provide freely the extra single rooms. Note: Some teahouse cannot provide private room because of their availability and limitations. Even you have the ability to pay extra they will not provide a private room because other trekkers cannot find the bed also some went out without rooms.

Q. Where I can get Drinking water in Everest Budget Trek?

Mission Himalaya Treks provide trekkers all meals during the trekking but the drinks and water you need to buy by yourself. The budget options of water are to use your pills or chlorine drops in local water provided by lodges. Or you can buy your own water in teahouses or shops from US$ 1 to US$ 5 per liter depends on elevation and places.

Q. Meals during the trek?

Mission Himalaya Treks and expeditions guide provide you the menu from your staying hotel and you can choose your own meal during the trekking. We will provide free hot drinks in trekking each meal with 1 cup. They have Nepali, Chinese, Indian and continental dishes. You have full the freedom to choose your meals from the menu. The food like Pizza, Noodles, Pasta, macaroni, Spaghetti, Rice, Eggs, Bread, Soups, Momo, Toasts. Traditional Nepali cuisine is very famous which includes the sets of rice, Vegetables, Lentils soup, Pickle, Curry, and crispy bread called Papad. This food is popular because it's a buffet all over Nepal without pay extra add-on cost. Meals are hygienic and freshly prepared after you arrive at the guesthouse. Note: Meat in higher elevation is not very fresh so beware with meat items.

Q. In the trekking can I charge my device?

Yes, no doubt. You can charge your electric device in common places like the dining hall in the guesthouses. Only some places have to charge in your private rooms. You need to pay extra for your charging which can be US$ 1 to US$ 5 per hour per device or per full charging per device depends on the guesthouse or elevation. Note: 230 Volt c and d type of travel adapter useful in Nepal trekking and traveling. In case if you forget to bring you can buy this in Kathmandu for a couple of dollars.

Q. Toilet facilities during the trekking.

Normally Nepal squat toilets popular in Nepal. Some teahouses provide trekkers western toilets. Some higher elevation the toilet is squat and outside sharing with many trekkers means not attached with your personal rooms.

Q. During the trekking where I can go toilet in the Trek?

Many of your time in the teahouse you can use toilets in teahouses. But during your trekking, you cannot find a toilet middle of the way. You can go toilet to see your privacy yourself outside in shadow or unseen places of trekkers.

Q. What facilities in phone calls and internet during the trek?

Many lower elevation teahouses provide Wi-Fi at 3 to 5 us$ per 24 hours. You can buy a Sim card in Kathmandu with a data package and use it during trekking but the signal is poor and strong depends on the places. You can use this phone for domestic and international calls too. In case some places your Sim card not works properly you can use the guesthouse phone with paying the cost. Nowadays many teahouses provide the Everest Link Wi-Fi. If you buy US$ 30 for 20 GB or US$ 20 for 10 GB you can use almost all places during the trekking until your GB finished.

Q. Can I have my own toilet paper during the trek?

Of course yes. All the tea houses and hotels sell toilet paper in trekking. They do not provide toilet paper freely in the toilet. The cost of toilet paper starts from US$ 2 to US$ 5 in higher elevations. What kind of Shower facilities during my EBC trek? Lower elevation teahouses have a hot shower either by solar or by Gas whereas higher elevation provides hot water in the bucket because of flowing water freezing. Normally they charge US$ 3 to 5 for a hot shower per person per shower.

Q. Laundry facilities in the trek?

Only some teahouses have laundry facilities during the trekking. During your acclimatization day in Namche and Dingboche we will suggest you do laundry but another day it is not good for laundry because sometimes the clothes cannot dry due to time and cold weather. After complete trekking, you can give all your clothes in Kathmandu for laundry. They have fast laundry and dry services.

Q. Can I trek Everest base Camp without acclimatizing?

The best way of traveling higher elevation is slowly ascended to a higher elevation and acclimatize after 3500m 1 day at the same altitude. After 1000m altitude gain you need to stay another night again for acclimatization. Otherwise, you might have acute mountain sickness. Our all the guide are highly experienced with Symptoms with AMS and another related mountain sickness. So they carry oximeter and Diamox in higher elevation trekking. Some trekkers can trek without acclimatization. If you have a limited time frame you can consult with us for a short Everest base Camp trek then you can fly back from Gorakshep to Kathmandu by helicopter. We can customize your trip according to your holiday and economic wants so please consult with Mission Himalaya Treks experts.

Q. What happens if I have AMS or Injured during my Trek?

Our trekking leaders are experts to handle such problems. In case if you are unable to trek lower or higher elevation during your injury or AMS they will consult with your travel insurance agents and according to your policy, we will send a helicopter for emergency evacuation. If you are normal we will give you good advice with first aid treatments to reduce sickness and bring your nearby health post or HRA post.

Q. Food and Water are Safe?

Yes, we can tell it’s safe according to our past trekking experience. But before eat your food please check if it's well cooking or not. Water needs to treat safely before drinking because our natural water has lots of minerals. We can digest it but trekkers cannot be. Do not eat uncooked vegetables in Kathmandu. During the trekking meat is not fresh so beware before you eat meat items.

Q. How is the temperature during my trekking to Everest?

Nepal Mountain is obviously cold no doubt. Depends on the season and timing the temperature a lot of changes. Trekking in higher elevation will much colder than lower elevation. Normally during the high season of trekking day time hike not very cold you can hike with normal light hiking gear but in tea, houses say at night it will very cold. The temperature falls until negative 20 degrees at Everest base camp. But depends on elevation the temperature is different. Trek to Everest Base Camp in the wintertime is Very cold so the temperature falls to negative 40 degrees in Everest Base Camp. To prepare your trekking gear please consult with us before your departure.

Q. If my Domestic flight canceled or delayed what happens?

Due to weather anytime the Lukla flight delayed or canceled. If you have a buffer day you can make your trek flexible. But if you have no extra day you can decrease your acclimatization day or you need to fly back from Everest Base camp to Lukla or Kathmandu by helicopter with extra add-on cost. Sometimes the weather is bad but the chopper can fly to Lukla. For this flight, you need to pay an extra US$ 500 per person per way. So prepare your contingency add-on cost for this flight. If you have a buffer day you can back to Kathmandu hotel that day cost you can pay yourself in hotel lodging and food. The flight can be rescheduled for the next day without extra add-on cost in flight. Sometimes the airlines change the flight from Kathmandu to Lukla to Ramechap to Lukla in that case we will provide you free transport from Kathmandu to Manthali Ramechap on a sharing basis. And Vice versa when you back after complete your trekking from Lukla to Kathmandu or Lukla to Ramechap and drive to Kathmandu.

Q. How about tips for my Trek?

Tips not mandatory but are expecting in Nepal. The guide and porter tips are not included in the tour fees. The tip is the appreciation of your treks. During the staff's hard work and their effort for your happy holiday, we generally suggest you tip them. They think they succeed to complete your trek organize happily.

Q. How much money should I bring for this trek?

Except for the tour fee, your extra money depends on the things that you buy. For yourself drinks personal expenses we will suggest you bring US$ 20 per day. Q. How much I need to pay if I am trekking solo?

For group, tour joining we do charge you extra cost but on your dates, if you like to private trek you can consult with us for a solo trekking itinerary with Quotation.

Q. What are the postponed and cancellation policy?

Normally we have a free postponed policy prior to 3 months of booking. But Cancellation of booking after paying deposit are as follows: Before 90 days, a full refund of the deposit. Less than 21 days, no fund of the deposit. Between 90-21 days, only 50% of the deposit can be refunded.

Q. Can I get a refund if I unable to succeed to complete my whole trek?

Normally the cost you cannot get a refund if you are unable to trek by yourself because we need to pay our guide and porter fully after we committed the trip. So the tour fee is not refunded.

Q. Can I add an extra day to my Trek?

Of course yes if you will book your private trek with us but in group joining it will be not possible. If you have your private group tour you can consult with our company and guide then probably you can add extra days in your trek. You can consult with us after you confirmed we will try to choose your best solution.

Q. If I like to extend my holiday any trip recommendation?

We can organize the tour or short trekking quickly too. There are many options like Pokhara sightseeing, Chitwan Jungle Safari, Paragliding, Bungee jumping, Rafting Kathmandu tour, Lumbini tour. So you can easily extend your holiday after consulting our Mission Himalaya Treks and Expeditions Experts at least Prior 3 days if possible.

Q. Who can trek with me along my trek?

In our office policy, we cannot share private personal data with anyone. In sharing groups, we only can give you nationalities and aged groups with gender. You can ask us how many people in your group signed up with us for this trek. We never share your private data with another person too.

Q. Except for my Trekking fees what are the extra costs?

Mission Himalaya Treks Budget Everest base Camp package included almost all items but generally, we suggest you bring some tipping extra money and contingency optional helicopter flight from Kathmandu to Lukla and Lukla to Kathmandu US$ 1000 in case of bad weather and emergency. Other items are Nepal Visa fees, Wi-Fi, Battery Charging, Showers, Snacks and alcoholic drinks, and water charges. Also, you can bring some amount of Kathmandu lunch and dinners.

Q. Can I use my Credit card?

Normally only in the city, you can use credit cards properly. There are several; ATMs in Kathmandu you can use this and bring cash is suitable for trekking. Normally they charge 3 to 5% extra cost for credit card use. Most of the trekking routes have no ATM so we will warmly request you to bring cash after an exchange in Kathmandu. For emergencies, you can use a credit card in some places.
