There is no denying that the Phulchowk Hiking is suitable throughout the year. But, the blooming Rhododendron and other floral species, makes the spring hike more exciting.

The hike to Phulchowki Hill begins from Godawari which is around a 40km drive away from the main city of Kathmandu. Home to diverse birds and floral species, Godawari has got everything to allure the hikers since the start.
Heading uphill from Godawari, the trails take us through the lush forest of Pine, Rhododendrons, Fur, and many others. The chirping of birds and the burbling of streams astonish anyone during the hike.
After the gradual uphill hike of around 4 hours, we will reach the Phulchoki hilltop. Boasting the views of Annapurna, Langtang, Gaurishankar and many other ranges the hilltop of Phulchoki greets us with the perfect sight. The surreal view of Kathmandu Valley and its surroundings appears to be more fascinating from this hilltop.
