Trip Overview

Nar-Phu Valley trekking was opened for the tourist after 2002. The trek of Nar-Phu Valley is an exciting adventurous visit in the Manang North region of Annapurna. The fantastic Nar-Phu journey starts the same as the Annapurna circuit trek and then branches off from Koto.

Then follow the beaten track of Dharamshala and Khyang with Nar-Phu Valley and Pass the Kang-la pass with a magnificent panorama of Annapurna Mountain. This pass link Nar with Manang. The high snow peaks, high altitude settlements, trekking in the hidden valley, Tibetan culture and alpine scenery, Flora, and fauna are the main attractions of these treks.

Tashi Lakhang Gumpa and receiving a blessing from Lama Karma Sonam Rimpoche make you so confident of life and the Buddhist pilgrims system around. This trekking ends to Nawal the higher route of Annapurna circuit trek and either you can back to meet the same route from Pisang – Chame- koto or you can trek throng pass, or Tilicho lake and Meso kata pass and take a flight from Jomsom to Pokhara or can do whole Annapurna circuit including Nar-Phu.

Day 01:

Arrival in Nepal Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel(1350m)

30 Minutes Driving.

Welcome Dinner.

3 Star Category Hotel.

Today one of Mission Himalaya treks and Expeditions Representative will pick up you from International Airport Arrival gate after you take visa and claim your luggage. the he drives with you 20 minutes to your respective hotel. Then you have leisure time. On the evening we will introduce you to your guide and check your trekking equipment. Then we go for welcome dinner (a Local Nepali Cuisine)in a typical Nepali Restaurant in City Centre Thamel(a touristic HUb of Kathmandu) with a Nepali Cultural Dance and live Music show freely. Overnight at Kathmandu.

Day 02:

Drive from Kathmandu to Jagat(1300m)

8 To 9 Hours driving.

Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Tea House/ Lodge.

Today after breakfast in Kathmandu we will drive 5 to 6 hours to Besishahar where the Annapurna circuit trek also start. Until Beshishahar the road quite smooth and scenic but after Besishahar the trail was not smooth because it is not the concrete way. we will take the jeep for around 3 hours on this kind of trails. On the way, we pass a paddy field, mountain view, and lots of waterfalls and on the bank of Marshyangdi riverside. Overnight at Jagat.

Day 03:

Trek from Jagat to Dharapani{1860m}

5 To 6 Hour Trekking.

Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Tea House/ Lodge.

After 1st mountain breakfast, we will start our trek in the morning after crossing the Marshyangdi river. The trail until Tal is steeply uphill facing some mountain and boulders. Tal is finest place to stay near the bank of Marshyangdi river where at night little noise will come so after see the local people lifestyle here we take the lunch and trekking slightly flat and uphill to Kotro and Dharapani. Dharapani is the place of the entrance checkpoint. Trekkers who went Manaslu trek and Larkya pass they finish trek here and back to Besishahar.

Day 04:

Trek from Dharapani to Chame(2670m)

5 Hours Trekking.

Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Tea House/ Lodge.

Today after breakfast on the loop of Manaslu we will start trek to the gradually flat way till Bagarchap and Danaque. We can see Magnificent Manaslu From there. After Danaque we will trek little uphill to the forest until Timang. From Timang we can see Manaslu ranges like North Manaslu South Manaslu and Middle. The view is so nice and spectacular. After Lunch in Timang we will trek flat until Chame. We will ross a Suspension bridge too. Chame is the headquarter of Manang district. It is quite big and has a Natural Hot Spring. In the evening you can take Natural hot spring shower. We can see Lamjung Himal and Annapurna 2 from Here. Overnight at Chame.

Day 05:

Chame to Dharmashala(3300m)

Hour Trekking.

Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Tea House/ Lodge.

After breakfast in Chame today we will back to Koto and start trekking to hidden land Nar Phu trail. First downhill to the river Marshyangdi and cross suspension bridges and trek uphill. We will walk through the gorge, Pine forest, and narrow trekking trails. overnight at Dharmashala.

Day 06:

Trek from Dharmashala to Khyang(3620m)

6 Hour Trekking.

Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Tea House/ Lodge.

Today trekking after breakfast leads to grassland and trek uphill to white Chorten(Buddhist) and some barley fields. We can see magnificent Annapurna Himalayan ranges on back. Today several times we will cross rivers before reach to Khyang Village. After reach there, we will explore this village and experience about the local culture of village peoples. Overnight at Khyang.

Day 07:

Trek from Khyang to Phu(3900m)

3 Hour Trekking.

Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Tea House/ Lodge.

Today is short trekking as compared in another day. so we will take late breakfast and start trekking easier path and completely grassland and often we can see Blue Sheep and Boulder and cliffs. After reach, we lunch and explore the village. Overnight at Phu Village. Leisure day.

Day 08:

Trek from Phu Village to Nar(4110m)

7 To 8 Hour Trekking.

Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Tea House/ Lodge.

Today little long trekking. After Phu, we will back half-hour trek to Chyarkha and Jhunam and we trekking right direction to Nar. Very old Monastery, Sadik Chorten and lots of ancient cultural monuments can be seen. Then the trail descends to Nar Phedi. You can see the Pisang peak mountain from there. The trekking uphill start from Phedi. Guru Choling Gompa in the top of the village and Sanmten Ling Gompa and other Monastery make you happy all the times. If you do not like pass one long journey you can go back to Koto next day. Overnight at Nar Village.

Day 09:

Trek from Nar to Ngawal{3500m} via Kang la pass{5300m)

6 To 7 Hour Trekking.

Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Tea House/ Lodge.

Today we will be trekking only a few hours we can village exploring and back to Kangla Phedi. Normally we are walking through the Paster land and Kani Village. No permanent settlement of village here so morning we can go to pass and Down to Ngawal is the good option. Overnight at Ngawal in Guest House.

Day 10:

Trek From Ngawal to Chame{2670m)

7 To 8 Hour Trekking.

Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Tea House/ Lodge.

Ngawal is the village very beautiful. morning breakfast in Ngawal and trek back to Gyaru village. A beautiful way today because we can see majestic mountain view of Annapurna 2, Annapurna 3, Annapurna 4, Khagsarkang, Tiliche peak from the way during trekking. Magnificent Marshyangdi river and landscape will be seen. The trail today downhill and slightly flat all the way. Probably we will take the lunch in Pisang after 3 hours the all trail flat until Chame. During the trekking, we can see Apple garden and farming. we can taste the real Nepali Delicious apple on the trails. Overnight at Chame.

Day 11:

Drive to Besishahar[760m]

6 Hours Driving.

Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Tea House/ Lodge.

Today after breakfast we will take a jeep to back to Besishahar. Long driving on a road. The construction of the road not nice so it will be difficult for you but at the moment of trekking finish memory and back view of Annapurna, Lamjung and Manaslu mountain you forget your stress. After drive back to Besishahar stay overnight here. If you are hurry and No enough time period you can take the bus or car to Kathmandu with another 5 hours driving.

Day 12:

Drive from Besishahar to Kathmandu{1350m}

5 Hours Driving.

Breakfast And Lunch.

3 Star Category Hotel.

In the morning after breakfast, we will take a small Local public bus to Kathmandu. On the way, you can see Farmland terraces, Mountains, Numerous rivers, Rafting, etc. They have 2 stops during the way one for a toilet break and another for lunch. after 6 hours you will reach Kathmandu New Bus Park. Mission Himalaya Treks and Expedition guide drop you to your hotel from Bus stop. Then at evening office Representative will meet you to share your trekking experience with us. You can give your suggestion and complains. your suggestion will be feedback for us. Then he will provide you the certificate of trekking completed. Overnight at Kathmandu.

Day 13:

Departure your trip. {20 minutes driving}

Morning you have complimentary breakfast in hotel Kathmandu. After the final breakfast in Nepal, you have leisure time or final hour shopping for your friends, family, and relatives. Then Mission Himalaya treks and expeditions representative will drop you prior 3 hours then your flight to the airport or according to your Check-in time. Then you can go to your sweet home.
