Speaking of the trekking trails, the trails of the Amphu Laptsa Pass Trek are not frequently visited by trekkers.

Therefore, the trails of the Amphu Laptsa Pass trek are more rustic and challenging than those of the popular Everest Base Camp and Annapurna Base Camp treks.

To cross the pass of Chhatra La and Amphu Laptsa, you will require the technical gears.

Though it is not mandatory to trek this region with a guide, to cross these passes, you need them.

Further, for your ease, you should hire a porter to carry your backpacks.
