The last courtyard is the oldest part of the palace, today the Patan Museum is located here, where about 900 unique examples of statues and other items are exhibited. Patan has more than 50 pagoda temples, hundreds of shrines, and countless shops of all kinds.

The most significant temples are Kumbeshwar in honor of the god Shiva (built-in 1392), Hiranya Varna Mahavira (built in the 12th century), Mahabouddha (built in the 16th century), and Red Mahendranath (built in the 17th century). All these historical monuments are masterpieces of Nepalese architecture.

Bhaktapur (old name Bhadgaon – city of devotees) is the third (after Kathmandu and Patan) city in the Kathmandu Valley. In the 14th-16th centuries, it was the capital of the entire valley, which was reflected in the grandeur of its architectural monuments. The most significant contribution to the development of this city was made by the royal dynasty of Malla. Built at the end of the 17th century, houses and temples are perfectly preserved and are still in use today.

After the tour transfer to Nagarkot. Nagarkot is a mountain resort, 12 km northeast of Bhaktapur, a 2100 m high mountain range forms the eastern border of the Kathmandu valley. The peak itself is uninhabited, now covered with hotels and restaurants, from where you can admire a magnificent view of the valley, endless terraced fields, and a large part of the Himalayas.

From it, in good weather, you can see most of the 8-thousand, including Everest 8848m. To the north, the splendor of Ganesh Himal, Langtang, Dorje Lhakpa, and Gauri Shankar opens up.
