After lunch drive to the grandiose Swayambhunath Stupa, one of the world-famous Buddhist religious sites. Swayambhunath is the oldest stupa built on the trade route from India to Tibet about 2000 years ago, on four sides of which the all-seeing eyes of the Buddha are depicted.
Swayambhunath is located on a hill, to the top of which a staircase of 365 steps leads, and from above a panorama of the entire city of Kathmandu opens up. A place with very strong energy. It is believed that this mountain was revered as sacred even before Buddhism came to the valley. Shamans and priests have been performing their rituals here for centuries.
Departure to the ancient city of Patan (299 AD). One of the oldest settlements in the Kathmandu Valley. In the past, Kathmandu and Patan were separate principalities.
